BROW TATTOO PREPARATION.
Success in brow tattooing is a partnership; my expertise accounts for 70% of the healing process, while your at-home care contributes the remaining 30%. Both elements are crucial for optimal skin health and achieving the best possible results.
All clients, regardless of age, must adhere to our tattoo preparation regimen. The sooner you commence your preparations, the better your healed tattoo will appear.
To soften the brow area, apply Bepanthan or any other nappy rash cream to the brow bone area before bed. Move the cream back and forth across the area. The softer your skin is, the better the healed result, particularly for those with older or sun-damaged skin. This step should be started at least one to two weeks before your tattoo appointment.
Hydration is key. Aim to consume 2 litres of water daily in the one to two weeks leading up to your brow tattoo.
Two to four nights before your appointment, gently exfoliate your brow area to remove any dead skin. This can be done using a homemade scrub of sugar mixed with coconut or olive oil. Or and exfoliation glove, or and old tooth brush.
In the 48 hours prior to your appointment, refrain from consuming alcohol, and avoid intense exercise and caffeine on the morning of your appointment. This will help ensure the best possible outcome for your brow tattoo.
LIP TATTOO PREPARATION.
Success in lip tattooing is a partnership; my expertise accounts for 70% of the healing process, while your at-home care contributes the remaining 30%. Both elements are crucial for optimal skin health and achieving the best possible results.
All clients, regardless of age, must adhere to our tattoo preparation regimen. The sooner you commence your preparations, the better your healed tattoo will appear.
To soften the lips, apply a liberal amount Bepanthan or any other nappy rash cream to the lips going over the borders before bed. Apply the nappy rash cream any time during the day instead of your normal lip balm. If you don’t wear lip balm you still need to apply nappy rash cream at least 3 X daily. The softer your lips are the easier and quicker the lip will tattoo, and the better the healed result, particularly for those with older or sun-damaged skin. This step should be started at two weeks before your tattoo appointment.
